HBO has always been known as a network that develops great programs, and “The Newsroom” looks to be the next big hit.
The premium cable channel has just released a teaser trailer for the show, starring Jeff Daniels as controversial news anchor Will McAvoy.
Premiering Sunday, June 24th, “The Newsroom” also stars Emily Mortimer, Alison, Pill, Dev Patel, Jane Fonda, Olivia Munn and Sam Waterston.
Aaron Sorkin handles the writing duties, and is said to take viewers “behind the scenes of a high-impact partisan news-talk television program.”
