Jennifer Love Hewitt's mother has died at 67.
Patricia Hewitt sadly lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday (12.06.12), a spokesperson for the star confirmed in a statement.
The actress, 33, kept her mother’s illness private throughout the tough time.
A family representative said: "Her family mourns her loss. She was an
angel to all who knew her and they are grateful she is now in a better
place. They ask for privacy at this difficult time. No further details
are being provided."
The speech-language pathologist, is survived by her famous daughter, and son, Dr. Todd Hewitt.
