Willow Smith (I Am Me) Music Video

Willow Smith has once again wowed fans with her new music video for "I Am Me".

In the track, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's 11-year-old daughter slams those who criticize her about her choices and fashion sense.

Willow premiered her "I Am Me" music video at the 2012 BET Awards, and, in the video, the "Fireball" singer moves around New York City on a skateboard pausing to sing in the middle of a busy street while belting out the lyrics: “Express myself cause it’s my liberty / I’ve been lookin’ / Your validation is just not that important to me.”

Also not important to Miss Smith is what people think of her buzzed hairstyle or what she wears, as she sings, "People don't like the way I dress, or where I'm at. I dye my hair and it's not just vanity," adding, "I am me, I am free. That's all I can be."

Encouraging others to also be carefree, Smith sings, "You have to be yourself. Be real, Be honest. Cause ain't nobody got time for that. They really don't."

After the premiere of "I Am Me", Willow took to Twitter to thank her fans while tweeting a link to her new hit, adding, "Thanks for the #IAMME Luv! This is for you guys!!!"

what Willow wanted not too long ago, to focus on studying ballet. Now she’s getting back into gear with acting (on the “Annie” remake) and her music under the Roc Nation label.

Jada has always been the protector and great voice for her children in interviews and she explained recently about where Willow is with her music and that they just might collaborate together sometime in the future. The best part of it all for Jada is to see how her mentor, Jay-Z really supports his artists, including her daughter.

“She definitely wants to put an album out, but we’re trying to give her space to grow as an artist. Which is another reason why I adore Jay-Z, because he really understands that process. He’s so artist friendly, and he has so much love and respect for Willow. And he’s doing such a fantastic job being in partnership with us, in regards to her career and really helping her develop as an artist.”

On a hopeful collabo for the mother/daughter duo:”My music is like my freedom space. But Willow and I definitely talked about doing a collaboration. She really loves rock music, so she wants to come on and get crazy with me on a track. Which I would love, because she has a fantastic voice.”

It has been reported that Will Smith, his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith and their two children Jaden Smith and Willow Smith, are set to team up and do a movie together. It will be the first time that the whole family has appeared on the big screen together.

It is not yet clear whether they will be playing an actual family or if they will just be in the movie but not related. Will Smith has pushed hard with the idea for the movie and hopes to have it made as soon as possible, as he currently has a very busy work schedule.

Will Smith has been linked to sequels to almost every movie that he has ever done, while Jaden Smith is set to be involved in Karate Kid 2. The there is Willow Smith, who seems more comfortable in the music scene rather than acting.

However, once all of their schedules have a short amount of free time, they are dead set on going off and making this movie. The script for the film is complete but is undergoing a few small revisions but production on the project is expected to get underway as soon as possible.

After having recently shaved off her locks, Willow Smith changed up her look once more by dyeing hair green.

The "Fireball" singer unveiled the colorful coif by posting a series of fun-filled photos on her Instagram page.

With each shot, Miss Smith added short quotes and slogans such as "I got lil taller since the last time you seen brah...” and “Even though I am small... I do big things.”

“I kick down boundaries cuzz I don't care! #rebel,” Willow continued in her posts with another pic's message reading, “I am starting a LAGIT thingy with people around the world like @eeeeeeeeeeb ... Can share ALL of their styles... #uniqlook”
