Adele Pregnant With First Child at 24

The 24-year-old singer and her boyfriend Simon Konecki are going to become parents.

“I’m delighted to announce that Simon [Konecki] and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to

hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”, the Grammy winner wrote on her website.

The two started dating this January. In February, he accompanied her to the Grammys, where Adele went six for six in her nominated categories for her album ‘21‘.

Earlier this year, Adele confessed that she her goal was to have three sons by the age of 30. Maybe baby!

Simon Konecki is 38-year-old and he is divorced with a daughter.

Adele Revealed Drinking Problem

Adele was once close to "rolling in the deep" with an alcohol problem, according to a new biography.

In Marc Shapiro's "Adele: The Biography," the author details a time when the singer struggled with a drinking problem that left her visibly intoxicated while performing onstage.

"I got so drunk by the time I went on at 2 a.m. I had forgotten the words to my own songs ... It was the worst thing ever," the 24-year-old singer told Shapiro in an interview, according to In Touch. "Midway through her first tour, she allegedly had a drinking problem," he says.

But according to Shapiro, it was the heartbreak that made Adele a global household name that fueled her alcohol dependence -- an addiction her estranged father similarly suffered from.

"Adele would drink more than normal to salve the heartbreak," Shapiro writes.

But since finding success as every 20-something's soul sister, the singer has been able to bench her demons -- and, in the process, play guardian angel to a special fan.

After a 7-year-old British girl suffered from a brain hemorrhage that left her in a coma in mid-April, she miraculously awoke with a smile when Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" began playing on the radio in her hospital room.

Adele's Miracle Song Wakes Young Cancer Patient

Adele's vocal power has seemingly transcended to a whole new level.

According to a report from The Telegraph, the Grammy winning singer's hit single "Rolling In The Deep" helped bring a thought-to-be lost young brain hemorrhage patient out of her coma.

After doctor's told 7-year-old Charlotte's mother to hold her daughter one last time back in April 2011 following the dire medical condition's onset, Leila Neve crawled into her child's bed to cuddle - at which time Adele's song happened to come on the radio.

With Miss Neve then singing the lyrics to her ailing daughter, the miracle happened - as Charlotte responded with a smile! Of this, Leila recalled, "I couldn't believe it. It was the first time she had reacted to anything since the hemorrhage. The nurses were astounded and told me to keep singing, and she smiled again."

With her darling angel making an astounding turnaround from that point forth, 31-year-old Miss Neve explained, "It was like she was rebooting. She was allowed to come home for a weekend to see how she was and the first thing she said was 'home sweet home.' "

"Charlotte has been brilliant," Leila added, telling that her girl is back in school and even taking dance classes. "She is so determined and brave. The doctors have stopped telling us what she should be able to do – because she has amazed them so much."

Robert Pattinson, Adele Had a Drunken Argument

Robert Pattinson had a drunken argument with Adele. So interesting. We find Adele to be a very smart woman. Despite her singing mostly about love, she can be a tough person. Or this is what we think about her.

As for Robert, he might be funny when he drinks. At least until he becomes ridiculous.

But here’s what happened. In one interview he gave to Canadian talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos, the 26-year-old actor opened about his drunken encounter with the Grammy winner.

“I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever said. [I told her] you know, you can really just reach for it!’ And she was like, ‘You do realize I’m, like, the biggest selling female artist ever’. And for some reason, I decided to get into an argument with her about it”, Robert explained.

The ‘Twilight’ actor didn’t give too much details about the argument, but he did mention that his sole focus the next morning was “waking up and really, really regretting every word I said”. That means he wasn’t too much of a gentleman with Adele.

Actually we could imagine Robert Pattinson acting like a jerk. He doens’t seem the kind of man who cares too much about what a woman thinks, at least not when he’s drunk. And you know what they say: in vino veritas.

Robert Pattinson: I Argued With Adele About Fame

Robert Pattinson admitted during an interview with Canadian TV that he got into an argument with Adele after a night of drinking, reports Us Weekly.

Pattinson, 26, told Canadian talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos that the incident began with an awkward attempt by him to give her a pep talk.

"I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever said," Pattinson said. "[I told her] you know, you can really just reach for it!' And she was like, 'You do realize I'm, like, the biggest selling female artist ever.' And for some reason, I decided to get into an argument with her about it."

Though he didn't get into details about the exact words used in the exchange, Pattinson says that he felt terrible the next morning, "waking up and really, really regretting every word I said."

Adele takes over Michael Jackson's UK album sales record

North London singing sensation Adele has toppled Michael Jackson to claim the UK's fifth best selling album in history.

Sales fidures show that the 23-year-old's second album has sold 4,274,300 copies in the UK - 500 more than Michael Jackson's iconic album Thriller.

"To add to her many landmark records, Adele's achievement in overtaking Thriller in the all-time sales list is truly remarkable," said Martin Talbot, The Official Charts Company’s managing director.

"Thriller has long been recognised as one of the most iconic albums of all time - there is now no doubt that 21 can be spoken of in the same breath."

Since the release of 21, the album has spent 23 weeks at number one, beating Amy Winehouse's Back To Black to become the biggest selling album of the 21st Century and has won Adele six Grammys and two Brits.

Adele Covers Entertainment Weekly's (Music Issue)

Adele is on the cover of the special music issue of Entertainment Weekly.

The 23-year-old Grammy-winning singer looks picture-perfect on the publication's front page while remaining humble in the accompanying column.

Talking about her doubts over the reception her album '21' would find in the States, Adele remembers saying, "I don’t think this record is going to do anything. I can’t feel the buzz in America."

Meanwhile, chairman and CEO of Columbia Records, Rob Stringer, knew that Adele's disc wasn't your run of the mill compilation but, at the same time, he didn't imagine such dominant success (as it's already sold 19 million copies worldwide).

"When everybody heard the record, they knew it was special," Stringer told EW. "But not one person could honestly tell you they thought it would sell this many."

Adele To Release New Song In 2012

Adele recently revealed that she'll release a new song in 2012.

"There will be a new song, probably coming out at the end of the year," Adele told French radio station NRJ. "But then it depends how quickly I write some other new songs."

However, Adele was quick to shoot down claims that there might be a new album to accompany the 2012 single. "It won't be for a good two years ... I have to write it. It takes a while."

Even if Adele doesn't release a new album until 2014, she's still atop the U.S. album chart with her smash hit sophomore effort, 21, which became the best-selling musical release of 2011. Adele also took home six Grammy Awards for 21.

In the premiere of "Live from the Artists Den," Adele revealed that she's quite bitter about 21's success. The album was based on a failed relationship with an ex-boyfriend.

"I like to try and distance myself from my songs, and I'm finding it quite impossible to do with this record," Adele said in the sit-down interview. "And I'm not sure if it's because the record is a lot more successful than our relationship was. I'm a bit bitter about that in a way, but in a really profound way because it's really amazing. Every time I sing the song, something else comes out, a little bit more of me hates myself or a little bit more of me is devastated."

For Adele's next record, however, fans can expect a different -- perhaps happier -- tone. Adele told Vogue magazine, "I am f--king off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail ... So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy."

Madonna slams Karl Lagerfeld fat Adele comments

Earlier this year it was reported that Chanel fashion house boss Karl Lagerfeld had criticised British singer Adele for being too fat. Now, Madonna has spoken out against Karl, claiming that nobody should ever say anything bad about anyone.

Madonna explained, "That's horrible. That's ridiculous, that's just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I don't like it when anybody says anything bad about anyone - I don't like it. Adele's a great talent and how much she weighs has nothing to do with it."

She added, "The thing for Adele to remember is at the end of the day, whether you rise or fall, it has so much to do with how you sustain yourself and keep your integrity and your inner strength. It is all about who you surround yourself with - friends and people who really do care about you, and care about your well-being beyond being a superstar. That's the most important thing."



Karl Lagerfeld has since retracted what he was believed to have said, claiming that his comments were taken out of context. Meanwhile, Madonna is set to release her second single, Girl Gone Wild from her forthcoming album MDNA.

Adele offered £1 million to front dating website for larger women

Adele has been approached to become the face of a dating website for larger ladies.

American site The Big And The Beautiful has offered the 23-year-old British singer £1 million to front their advertising campaign.

'Adele is a ridiculously talented bombshell,' president Whitney Thompson, 24, tells the Daily Star.

'I would be proud to work alongside her to continue to show the world what curvy girls are made of.'

Adele dropped 2 dress sizes after undergoing a throat operation in November and has put heartache behind her after becoming loved-up with entrepreneur boyfriend Simon Konecki, 37.

The Brit and Grammy-award winning star insists she's happy with her weight and wasn't concerned when fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld called her 'a little too fat'.

'I've never seen magazine covers or music videos and been like, "I need to look like that to be a success",' Adele tells Anderson Cooper on US show 60 Minutes.

'I don't want to be some skinny mini with my tits out.

'I really don't want to do it and I don't want people confusing what it is that I'm about.'

Rihanna: Adele depresses me so much

Rihanna has revealed that she can no longer listen to Adele's record-breaking album, 21, because it depresses her too much.

Speaking to Jonathan Ross during an interview for his ITV1 chat show, the singer said she could "identify" with Adele's tales of heartbreak, and that the subject matter was a little too close to the bone for her.

"Really I came to the BRITs to stalk Adele," she joked. "It was nothing about the awards or the performance, for me it was just to see Adele again. She doesn't know the depth of my affection, just the surface. She has no idea.

"It's hard to say a [favourite] track. The last album 21 just spoke to me so much. To the point where I had to stop listening to it cos it was depressing me so much. You become so attached to the stories, it's really something you identify with."

Rihanna also shed some light on speculation surrounding her and Chris Brown's relationship, insisting that she is still single, and is on the hunt for a new man.

She said: "Yes, I am a single lady. This is not something I enjoy. Single life is so overrated. You always want to be single when you are in a relationship but trust me it is no bueno.

"I have such incredible experiences in my life, but you don't want to live your life and then meet someone, you want to share your life with someone. I feel like that is what I am missing right now."

Adele accused of imitating Mariam Fares

The administrator of the official page of Lebanese singer Mariam Fares on the internet social network Facebook has posted an accusation against British well-known singer Adele of stealing the idea of Mariam’s clip “Ayam Al Shita” (Winter days) and used it in her own clip for the song “Someone like you”. The admin stated that Adele filmed her clip in the same filming location in France as well as the fact that she used very similar cloths like the ones worn by Mariam.

It was added that Mariam’s song was released two years ago in 2009 and Adele released her song a few months ago in September of 2011. The admin noted that the only true difference between the two clips is that Mariam filmed her clip during the nighttime, while Adele filmed during the day.

The clip by Mariam was recognized around the Arab world, while Adele’s song topped most music charts and won her four Grammy Awards, leading the admin to conclude that Adele was successful in stealing from the Arab world to make the stolen idea reach the world.

Adele to record duet with George Michael

Adele and George Michael could be set to collaborate on a brand new single, it has been reported.

Michael, who presented the Someone Like You singer with her Mastercard British Album Of The Year award at the BRITs last month, is working on a new album, and is apparently keen to record a duet with the star.

A source said: "George is working on his album for the first time since his life-threatening illness and he's in great shape. It is no secret that he adores Adele.

"He even left his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz in Australia for three days while he flew in to present Adele with her Brit. Adele has been an admirer of George's tunes for as long as she can remember, and was so touched that George presented her [with her] Brit Awars," the insider added.

Michael was rushed to AKH hospital in Vienna, Austria, in November 2011 after suffering a bought of pneumonia. He was forced to can all his remaining tour dates for the year.


Meanwhile, Adele's 21 has become the eighth biggest selling album of all time in the UK, with record sales totalling more than 4million. She recently revealed that she will be heading into the studio soon to begin work on the follow-up to 21 in the next few weeks.

Adele reveals she was joking about taking five years off

Adele has revealed that she was joking when she said she is taking five year break from music.

The singer turned around her statement made after the Grammys saying she was planning to take half a decade off to think about love and babies, by revealing she actually meant five days.

The award winner wrote on her website to alleviate fans’ fears that she was about to disappear off the face of the Earth, saying, “I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!”

It did seem a little strange to think that a singer at the height of her fame would even consider the thought of leaving it all behind for so long, but now it seems we know the real story and it seems a little more believable.

Adele, Boyfriend Simon Konecki Step Out For Grammys (PHOTO)

Adele took home six Grammys Sunday night for songs she wrote about an ex-boyfriend, but these days there's a new love in her life. The British soul singer made her first public appearance with

boyfriend Simon Konecki at the Grammys, where the pair sat side-by-side during the star-studded show.

The shy couple was spotted on holiday in Florida last month, and everyone was wondering who the Brit's new beau was. Konecki, it turns out, has been in Adele's life since last summer. He's a former financier behind Life Water and heads the water charity Drop4Drop, according to People.

However, when rumors started swirling that Konecki was a married man, Adele took to her blog to pen a rare post about her personal life in January.

"Contrary to reports and headlines in the press ... Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years," she wrote. "Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa."

Though things seems just fine between the couple, Konecki better watch his back -- we all know how Adele can turn heartbreak into a hit record. However, in Vogue's March 2012 issue, the British singer said she won't write a breakup record again and she's "done being a bitter witch."

Who knows? Maybe we'll be hearing some happy tunes from Adele on her next record.

Adele Covers Vogue, Says She'll Never Make Another Breakup Record

Adele had one of the biggest weekends of her life (hello, Grammy sweep!), and in the mix was the release of her long-rumored U.S. Vogue cover, for the March 2012 issue (pictured above).

Less than an hour after the Grammys ended last night, Vogue.com published the cover, its accompanying story and eleven photos from the Adele shoot (by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott). (The cover perviously surfaced on fashion blogs over the weekend.) On the stunning cover, there's not a hip in sight -- just flowing hair and plenty of cleavage, accentuated by a tight-fitting black lace dress.

The accompanying photo set shows a bit of variety in fashion choices, straying from Adele's usual all-black look via dramatic gem-toned touches from Oscar de la Renta, a wide corset belt and leather gloves. There's still plenty of black, vintage and lace, though -- all Adele fashion staples. Meanwhile, extreme close-ups of Adele's face show off her flawless skin and features.

In the cover story, the writer, unlike a certain Mr. Lagerfeld, doesn't focus on Adele's body, or any of her rumored weight lose as of late. Instead, readers learn about her recent vocal recovery, and that despite what her fans want, she's not planning on writing another "21" any time soon. "I am never writing a breakup record again, by the way," she said. "I'm done with being a bitter witch."

In fact, she actually has some nice things to say about the man -- ten years older than her -- who broke her heart and in the process, inspired "21." "You know, he was amazing," Adele admits in Vogue. "He was great. But it was never going to work. And for ages I was like, As if he deserves any fucking kudos for inspiring my record. But now, after some time, it only seems right that the person who so far has had the biggest impact on me-has now changed my life for fucking ever with this album-deserves a little credit. I can do things that I never dreamed I'd be able to do. If I hadn't met him, I think I'd still be that little girl I was when I was eighteen. And the best thing is, I now know what I want for myself and from someone else. I didn't know what I wanted before."

As for Adele's new man friend, 37-year-old charity CEO Simon Konecki (who accompanied her to the Grammys last night), she boasts that "he's proud of me, but he don't care about what I do or what other people think."

Looks like fans can expect "25" (or whatever it may be called) to be a happy record -- something very different for Ms. Adkins
